Reading

Currently reading: Most of the way through the third book of the Uglies series - still need to watch the Netflix adaptation too. Mostly hate-reading the From the Ashes era of X-Men, it’s a big dropoff in quality and scope from the Krakoan Age. So far the Absolute Universe books (Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and Absolute Superman) have been really impressive.

Listening

Listening to a ton of Frank Turner on my commute lately and managed to get tickets for his December show - which will be my first at the Espy, if you can believe it. Also hoping to get some Lake Street Dive tickets for their show here in March.

Watching

Agatha All Along and Only Murders in the Building were great. Enjoying Matlock (lol), the final season of Lower Decks, and High Potential. Planning to give Say Nothing a look, but going by some of the reviews I may read the book first.

Eating & Drinking

Working in the city again means rediscovering some old favourites. Can’t get enough of the satay noodles at Yen, the slices at Sal’s, and the baguettes at Waffle On. New faves include Brown Bagels and Heartbaker.

Tech

Currently on a work-provided 13” M3 MacBook Air, and using a Mac mini (late 2014) at home. Just updated to the 16 Plus in white and loving it.

Homescreen

I still can’t go past the weather homescreen, though sometimes I like the old-school clownfish one. Aside from the stock apps, I have Instagram, SaneBox, Slack, Swarm, Threads, Unread (recently switched back from Reeder), and Up (of course 🙂), with BOM Weather and Calendar widgets.
